Mac!

We have been saving up for a laptop that we really needed.  After waiting for a long time we got this amazing deal from Apple.  Yes, we got a Mac!  Click here and see the one we got.  Since we're used to PC, it's going to take a while to get used to it.  So far, we think it's pretty cool.

Coldstone!

We hung out with the Hickmans last Friday night at Coldstone. They are a lot of fun to hang out with and they have been so good to Gwen and I. We love y'all! Sorry Blake, we didn't get a picture of you.

Mission Serve 2008

A group of 10th graders, adults, and I returned Saturday from Cherokee, NC. We spent the week over there painting and roofing houses for those who really needed it. What a privilege it was to serve them for several days.

Sky Valley

Gwen and I traveled to Sky Valley, GA last weekend for a sweet reunion with Gwen's mother's side of the family. Her grandfather bought a house in the mountains which makes for a great place to gather as family. Gwen and I really enjoyed traveling together and stopping twice at our favorite fast food restaurant, Zaxby's. We had a blast spending the 4th at the reunion.

Last week before we went to Sky Valley, GA, I was able to paint our downstairs bathroom finally. We previously had to tear down old, tacky wall paper, repair the wall, and prepare the wall for paint. It's finally done and we can now use the toilet instead of having to walk upstairs every time! Parks, I know you'll like this post.
