Saturday Morning Breakfast

Gwen, RK, and I went to Big Ed's in downtown Saturday morning for our monthly breakfast escape. We're trying to explore some of the unique retaurants in Raleigh and if you like country cookin', Big Ed's is a must. It's downtown by Moore Square in the City Market. We walked in around 10:00am and they had a live band outside playing Christmas music. Their menu was packed full of country breakfast classics including hot cakes with the circumference of a basketball and omelets big enough for two. Come hungry and you might consider splitting a meal (what Gwen and I should have done).

Love it! Jocelyn can (and has on three separate occasions) eat a whole omelet from Big Ed's by herself. We definitely have a healthy eater on our hands!

Fun! We still haven't taken Charlotte for her first visit, but Big Ed's is one of Sam's favorites. We learned the hard way to go hungry and never order more than one hotcake!
Hope y'all had a great Christmas with Baby Girl!
